Day 1. Arrival at Kochi (1 Night)
Reach Cochin and receive a warm welcome from your pre-booked hotel representatives from Cochin International Airport or Ernakulam Junction and head towards your hotel. If you have arrived early then you can enjoy the day by engaging in sightseeing or you can simply stay back at your lodge and relax. Visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary for bird watching, explore the magical Willingdon Island, have fun at the Elephant Training Centre, go for a leisurely stroll at Marine Drive in the evening, etc.

Day 2. Transfer to Alleppey from Kochi - 53 kms (2 Nights)
Reaching Alleppey check-in to a houseboat. Conduct your prior bookings for the same. Dwelling in the houseboat for 24 hours, wandering along the serene backwaters, visualising the commendable sights along the shore will render unforgettable memories. Enjoy the sumptuous and delicious meals in the houseboat.

Day 3. Alleppey Sightseeing
Check-out from the houseboat and shift to a hotel. You can opt for a low-budget yet highly-rated hotel as the entire day will be indulged in sightseeing. You only need to retreat to your hotel to spend the night.
If you are in Kerala in the month of August, then you should not miss the enthralling snake boat race during the Onam festival. You can also indulge in the Kayaking tour through the backwaters to experience the pleasant sights on the second day at Alleppey. The tour lasts for 7 hours mostly. Post kayaking, go for some shopping in Alleppey’s popular markets and in the night enjoy a campfire or a night walk after dinner.
For sightseeing, here’s your plan for the day - Shikara ride on the backwaters, floating bridge at Alleppey beach, Ayurvedic massage and spa, Kuttanad village life, sunset at Pozhiyoram Beach, etc.

Day 4. Alleppey to Kollam - 85.7 kms (1 Night)
Transferring to Kollam from Alleppey, satiate your soul with the day’s local attractions such as Tangasseri Lighthouse, Sasthamotta lake, Kollam beach, Sri Mahaganapathi Temple, suspension bridge at Punalur, Rameshwaram Temple, Munroe Island, Kottukkal Cave Temple, Thevally Palace, Rosemala valley, etc. Next morning, visit Jatayu’s Earth Centre enroute Varkala.

Day 5. Kollam to Varkala - 27.5 kms (1 Night)
From the Jataayus’ Earth Centre drive to Varkala. Completing the check-in formalities leave for local sightseeings. You can visit Varkala cliff, Black beach, Kappil beach, Ponnumthuruthu (Golden Island), Anchuthengu Fort, Varkala Lighthouse, Shivagiri Mutt, Varkala Aquarium, Varkala cultural centre and Kilimanoor Palace.
At night enjoy beachside dining, embrace stargazing on the beach, stroll at Varkala cliff, witness the amazing bioluminescent waves at Varkala beach, be an audience to live music and cultural performances.

Day 6. Varkala to Kovalam - 52.2 kms (1 Night)
Reaching Kovalam from Varkala, head towards your day’s expedition at Kovalam which includes Samudra beach, Aruvikkara dam, Vellayani lake, Valiyathura Pier, Karamana River, Halcyon Castle, Shri Padmanabhswamy temple, Edakallu, Vizhinjam Rock Cut Cave Temple, Chowara beach, Neyyar Dam, etc.

Day 7. Departure from Trivandrum - 20.4 km
After breakfast check-out from Kovalam and embark towards the conclusion of the trip. Head towards Trivandrum to board your scheduled train or flight.
