Check-out from Kollam after breakfast and drive to Varkala. Spend your day visiting the Veli Lake and Tourist Village, Kappil Beach, Varkala Beach, Varkala Cliff, Sivagiri Mutt, Anchuthengu Fort, Thiruvambadi Beach (the black sand beach of Kerala) and Varkala Tunnel.
On reaching Poovar from Varkala, your spot sightings include Poovar Beach, Thirparappu Falls, Aazhimala Shiva Temple, Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary and the Fishing Village.
No need to shift your lodging from Poovar in order to tour Kovalam. Hawa Beach, Lighthouse Beach, Samudra Beach, Halcyon Castle and Vellayani Lake will be spots for the day.
